It is so easy to fear in this day and time. Fear what is happening and fear the uncertainty of what will happen. Our lives have shifted overnight and we are at a loss. We are accustomed to our daily routines and those routines no longer exist. As I think on these things, I remember that God tells me in the book of Matthew to take no thought for tomorrow because tomorrow will take thought for things of itself. This means that I shouldn’t worry about what will happen tomorrow because what will happen, will happen; and there is nothing I can do about it. But instead, He encourages us to seek the kingdom of God, and He’ll take care of all the rest.
So in this time of uncertainty, I encourage you all not to worry or fear. But instead, seek God’s kingdom and let him handle this situation. When we take our eyes off of the things happening around us and put the focus on God, and trust Him, he will bring a sense of peace upon our lives that cannot be explained.
